Costa Rica

Costa Rica: The land where happiness and conservation lead to long life!

Paul E German

Twenty-Five years ago Cost Rica was just another country that had been "heard about" and was somewhere South of Mexico: Somewhere! Then the eco-tourism and conservation boom hit and Costa Rica transformed itself into one of the leading eco travel destinations. Resorts were created using the most up to date methods of blending nature and man-made structures, the country passed law protecting green spaces and the local people embraced the lifestyle.

Not only did the Tico people obviously know what they were doing to create a successful tourism industry, but their Pura Vida outlook on life has led to health and prosperity, while maintaining the raw charm of a small tropical country.

COSTA RICA is back and you want to experience it NOW!

Tourism and Real Estate investment are just two of the areas that are growing exponentially in Costa Rica and especially on the North West coast. Here little rain falls, the sun shines daily, the rainforest reaches its arms right out to the grand Pacific Ocean and the local community is friendly and welcoming.

Where the above scenarios occur, there is opportunity! We at Flamingo Towers (www.flamingotowers.com) are proud to be offering opportunity right in the middle of the hottest spot in the country and the Costa Rican Tourism Board agrees. They have just invested over $3 million targeting the American and Canadian tourist to get out of their daily grind and head to their laid back, relaxed destination.

The "CASADO" is a true Costa Rican specialty and Seafood is everywhere

Paul E German

"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well."

                                                           Virginia Woolf

And a truer statement cannot be found in this area of Costa Rica!

All over Central America and the Caribbean you find a specialty dish that each country owns as their own. Here on the Guanacaste Coast, the "Casado" is one of the staples that you find in every restaurant, bar, shack, hut and sometimes even served out of a car trunk.

Mother Nature is alive and well in Costa Rica!

Paul E German

Living, visiting or passing through Costa Rica, one will never be disappointed with the natural beauty of this country. Boasting miles and miles of beaches colored pink, white, beige and black, one finds themselves lost in endless relaxation. Both coasts, East and West, are hotspots for picture perfect places where the rainforest reaches the oceans.

Once you step through the coastal doors and head inland, Costa Rica is rich in diverse landscapes from volcanoes to hot springs to fresh water rivers and wildlife. It is no wonder that this country led the way for eco tourism and now has regulations ensuring that 33% of its lands remain in park and protected status.

101 for Crossing the Nicaragua-Costa Rica Border...

Rachel Jensen

The past couple of weeks were spent in Nicaragua to help my colleagues host a couple of tours at Gran Pacifica. Since I had a few extra days in country, I decided to take a short, 2-day trip to Flamingo Towers in Costa Rica – an absolutely stunning villa complex overlooking the prettiest beaches in the country. I had visited in February and was itching to get back. The property has unparalleled views of Playa Flamingo from the front balcony, and Playa Potrero and the mountains from the back balcony. You see the sunrise from one balcony and the sunset from the other. It's really quite unbelievable. And with my colleague now working there, I knew I had to go. But how would I get there?

Costa Rica Named Happiest Country In The world

Charles Surgeon once said; "It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.

Costa Rica has been voted as one of the happiest places in the world this week by an organization from University of California, Berkley. They asked over 40,000 students how they would rate their life in 4 categories and this fantastic, small, Central American country ranked number one.

It's ironic that Flamingo Towers, our up-scale condominium community in Brasilito on the Guanacaste Coast, sits right in the middle of happiness. With 23 units in the 3rd phase tower, this desirable place to live exudes nothing less than that feeling of freedom and euphoria.

Costa Rica Sportfishing Ranks in the top 10

Flamingo Towers (an ECI Development project) perched cliffside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, is conveniently nestled in the heart of some of the top sports fishing in the world.

According to Nature.org, Costa Rica continues to be ranked in the top 10 places in the world for sport fishing. It has 3.5% of all marine species living in its waters and has such a range of diversity of their marine eco systems and waterscapes.

Now Is The Time For Real Estate Purchases and Development in Costa Rica

Paul German

As the Costa Rica real estate investment market prepares for the next big BOOM, 2015 may represent the last chance for great value and outstanding opportunities on investment and development properties in the country. In this small and sunning Central American jewel, prime development land and housing options, specifically the Pacific "GOLD" coast, are once again on the radar of investors looking to get prime land and infrastructure while record low pricing still holds.

After being one of the hottest real estate markets in the mid 2000's and with the subsequent collapse of real estate markets through out the USA, Costa Rica, based on simple supply and demand, is primed for its next surge.

Jet Blue Flying to Costa Rica

Great news for folks coming out of the northeast US and Canada. Discount carrier will begin non-stop flights from Boston November 1st to Liberia, Costa Rica on the Guanacaste Peninsula. With a Four Season, JW Marriott, and numerous other high end brands dotting the landscape, this new flight will open access to even more customers flying in. Last year, over 2.4 million tourists visited Costa Rica, over half of them US, Canadians and Europeans. With the incredible popularity of the destination and the march to high end, there are few value propositions out there for folks wanting a home or condo on the beach. One such value is in Flamingo Beach, a family oriented resort town with several bays and the world famous golf course at Playa Conchal.
