If you have not read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, a 1100 page tome, don't worry. The story is easy to follow and the message is moving. In short, the plot of the book is that entrepreneurs, gifted artists, and the business leaders in society become tired of the over burden of regulation and taxation. They decide to go on strike. Without their leadership and drive, the world spins down despite the best efforts of the government to regulate its way to prosperity. If you love freedom and believe in the proven formula to prosperity, then you'll cheer the heroes of the movie on as they step aside and watch society spin down.
