Kelly German
Kelly German received her bachelor degree in Kinesiology in 1994 from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and her Outdoor Recreation Management diploma from Capilano College in 1997. She is also a PADI certified Master Scuba Diver Trainer, a SSI certified Dive Control Specialist Instructor, and an Emergency First Response Instructor.
Kelly's experience is concentrated on remote location General Management and this has been achieved through multiple international experiences in resort, hotel, travel and tourism businesses. Kelly and her husband, Paul, Co-Director of Tourism for ECI Development, Ltd. are based at ECI’s Grand Baymen Resort in San Pedro, Belize, the Germans have 35 years of combined tourism travel experience. Their initial priority will be to grow Grand Baymen tourism as the company integrates the Exotic Caye Beach Resort oceanfront complex with its new San Pedro Fitness Center.
The Germans, originally from Vancouver, B.C., relocated full-time to Belize in 2007, having worked part time in Belize since 1997. Kelly German says Belize is “a remarkable destination, blessed with a proud cultural heritage, breathtaking natural attractions and is a truly amazing Caribbean resort destination.”
Paul German received a bachelor of arts degree in economics and business in 1988 from Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec and an outdoor recreation management diploma from Capilano College in Vancouver in 1994. He is an accomplished professional photographer and speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese in addition to English.
